SEND Single Route of Redress National Trial Briefing events will be taking place in January – March 2021 to support local authorities, health and social care commissioners with the national trial.

The events provided an update on the progress of the national trial of the extended powers of the SEND tribunal. The briefing sessions were held for the local authorities, social care and health representatives who are directly involved in SEND tribunal appeal and the EHC Plans process. Please note: the presentation slides refer to a 2 year trial which was due to run until 31 March 2020. However, this has been extended until 31 August 2021.

Parent carer webinar (November 2018)

A webinar for parents and carers on the national trial which sets out the reasons for single route of redress national trial and explains the duties, roles and responsibilities of the local authorities and health bodies. It provides parent carers with information about what support is available, what families can expect if they appeal to the Tribunal and details about the guidance and support available. Please note: the webinar refers to a 2 year trial which was due to run until 31 March 2020. However, this has been extended until 31 August 2021.
